Summary: LDD Partners was contracted to assist this $50M technology equipment
provider with developing a retail sales and marketing strategy, as well as
creating a web presence and developing a robust eCommerce platform.
Challenge: Traditionally, DataQDirect had maintained a closed sales network of
equipment distributors. However, due to increasing competition in the
technology equipment market, DataQDirect sought to transform its business
by marketing and selling directly to large end users and value-added
resellers. Unfortunately, DataQDirect did not have a strong web presence
or sufficient sales resources to support this transformation.
How LDD Helped: After performing a strategic needs analysis, including a competitive
analysis of the target market, LDD Partners created DataQDirect’s
corporate identity and positioning. We assisted in identifying an online
sales and marketing strategy and building a scalable eCommerce website
utilizing multiple data feeds and complex pricing algorithms. In addition,
